Initially, children are only capable of using their whole hand to hold and manipulate small objects. Once a true pincer grip emerges, a child is then capable of using just his thumb and index finger to do so. With a strong and controlled pincer grip, a child can easily twist dials, open and close a zipper, turn the pages of a book, and even start to use crayons or pencils with precision.

Our aim is to create a strong foundation, by introducing very specific skill sets, that the children will need to build on as they travel through their educational journey.

Off the Chain
Open up our ‘Off the Chain’ pack and get those fingers busy as you match, count and link chains together. Help your little ones learn all about sequences in a fun an interactive way. Our pack helps them recognise and continue colours and patterns; acquiring a vital skill that makes the world around them more understandable and predictable.

Threadtastic
There is nothing more fun (and enjoyably challenging!) for a preschooler than trying to squeeze what seems like a giant shoelace through the tiniest of holes! Watch them beam with pride as they identify all the colourful shapes, fruit and numbers and match them together using the pen and shoelace provided. Threading activities such as those in our level 4 ‘Threadtastic’ pack, are a fantastic way for toddlers to strengthen their pincer-grip, concentration and hand-eye coordination – but they don’t need to know that… they’re ‘just’ having lots of fun! Simple threading activities such as this are very important as they naturally strengthen the children’s small hand muscles that are vital for holding a pencil, tying shoelaces, writing and interacting with the world around them.

Shape Up
Each card contains a picture of Moto holding up a shape for your little one to learn, as well as a colourful scene with hidden shapes for them to find. Little ones match the cases to the shapes on the cards and progress to colour matching with pompoms using either their fingers/hands and even the tweezers.

Although this pack focuses on pincer grip and shape recognition, there are many additional skills that have been included to encourage overall development.

Our aim is to create a strong foundation, by introducing very specific skill sets, that the children will need to build on as they travel through their educational journey.

I’m sure it won’t come as a shock, but orders are taking a bit longer than normal to get out to you.

We’re doing everything we can to fulfil your orders as quickly and safely as we can, but please bear with us.

As a small family business, we are reliant on our wonderful suppliers and printers getting out to work under challenging circumstances as well as Royal Mail, who understandably aren’t able to be quite as fast as we’re all used to. We would like to thank them all for even making this possible.

We really appreciate the continued support we have been receiving and are extremely thankful for every single order.

Stay safe.
